Farmina Sourcing Response
Jul 30, 2026

JUPdog received an update from Farmina regarding the sourcing and processing of certain ingredients used in its dog food formulas.

Farmina Ingredient-Sourcing Update

JUPdog has now received clarification directly from Farmina regarding the concerns we shared.

  • According to Farmina, the fruits and vegetables used in its dog food formulas have always been sourced from Europe—not China. However, since 2021, those European-sourced ingredients have been sent to China for processing before being used in Farmina’s North American formulas.
  • Farmina has informed us that, effective today, the fruits and vegetables used in all North American formulas will also be processed in Europe.
We appreciate Farmina providing this clarification. At JUPdog, we will continue asking questions, gathering the facts and keeping our customers informed with verified information.
