Important Farmina Notice Farmina-Jul-29-2026
Jul 29, 2026

At JUPdog, transparency matters. Before relying on hearsay, we believe it’s important to gather the facts and act only on verified information.

An Important Farmina Notice

At JUPdog, we carefully research the foods we carry and believe you deserve honest, complete information.

  • We recently became aware of concerns that certain ingredients used in Farmina foods may originate from China. Farmina continues to state that its ingredients are sourced from trusted European and New Zealand partners. However, we have not received the detailed country-of-origin documentation needed to independently verify where every ingredient—including vitamins and minerals—is sourced.

  • The concern is not simply that an ingredient may come from China; it is the lack of clear, verifiable transparency. Until we receive satisfactory documentation, we are reviewing Farmina’s place at JUPdog.

  • If your dog currently eats Farmina, please don’t panic or abruptly change foods. Stop in and we’ll help you evaluate the formula and, if desired, transition safely to another quality option.
JUPdog, as of right now, will continue to carry Farmina in our stores. Some stores have decided to stop carrying Farmina, but we will wait to hear from them first before we make our decision.

Why We’re Sharing This Update

Farmina’s current public statement says its ingredients come from European and New Zealand partners, but its ingredient page does not provide the origin of every individual vitamin and mineral.

Important Information

Once we hear back from Farmina, we will post their reponse.

Stay tuned for updates
